How to Assist a Team in Effectively Troubleshooting Errors
Describe Your Environment
To assist us effectively, please provide the following information:
Indicate whether you are using Cloud or Jira Server/Data Center.
Specify your Jira Server/Data Center version.
Share the version of the Easy Templates add-on.
To find this, click the Cog icon → Manage apps → Manage apps → locate the Easy Templates section → expand it and check the “Version”.
Additionally, please take screenshots and screen recordings of any template behavior that you believe is not functioning correctly.
Retrieving Browser Logs
Open Browser Console Log and make a screenshot of errors
In your Chrome browser, click and then More tools > Developer tools (F12)
Click the Console tab.
Refresh the page with Jira issue and templates opened
to check for any errors in the console and send them to us as screenshots or screencasts
Generate.HAR file following these instructions and send to us.
