Need instructions for Easy Templates for Jira Cloud? Click here.

You can easily copy a Jira issue template to adapt it for new use cases in Easy Templates for Jira app.

This option is available for users with the Administrator Permissions

To copy template

  1. Navigate to Manage Templates

  2. Find the template in the list and click on “…” 3-dot menu

  3. Click “Copy, enter the new Template’s name, and click “Copy”

  4. A success message will appear

  5. Press “Edit” and you’ll be navigated to a newly created Template

  6. Adjust your template’s details and use it for a new Jira issue creation 🎉
