You can easily copy a Jira issue template to adapt it for new use cases in Easy Templates for Jira app.

This option is available for users with the Administrator Permissions

To copy template

  1. Go to Manage Templates in the Admin Console

  2. Find the template in the list and click on “…” 3-dot menu

  3. Click “Copy, enter new Template’s name and click “Copy”

  4. You’ll see a success message

  5. Press “Edit” and you’ll be navigated to a newly created Template

  6. You’re done! Edit your template and use it for a new Jira issue creation
